Hyderabad: Telangana Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry  Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has resigned and sent her resignation letter to President Droupadi Murmu on Monday.

According to sources she is likely to contest Lok Sabha polls either from Tamil Nadu or Puducherry.

A statement from Raj Bhavan said: “The Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Dr. Smt. Tamilisai Soundararajan has tendered her resignation with immediate effect. The resignation has been submitted to the Hon’ble President of India.”
