Hyderabad: Simon Wong, Singapore High Commissioner in India met KT Rama Rao Telangana Industries, MAU&D Minister on Tuesday at Pragathi Bhavan and said that there are many exciting investment opportunities in Telangana for Singapore companies.
Singapore companies are keen in investing in IT, innovation and allied sectors and blockchain sectors and also were keen in investing in Agriculture and food processing sectors” said Simon Wong.
Singapore High Commissioner assured all support to Telangana Government in this regard.
During the meeting, KT Rama Rao stated that Telangana Govt’s friendly industrial policies have helped attract major global companies to the State. He added that many Singapore-based firms have already established their units here & are positive about the State’s ecosystem.
KT Rama Rao promised that if more Singapore companies showed interest in investing in Telangana, the State Government would set up an exclusive zone or Singapore hub.
KT Rama Rao later felicitated the Singapore delegation, including Singapore Consul General in Chennai Pong Kok Tian.
