Rachakonda Police Book over 25,500 Lockdown Violation Cases in Last 10 Days

Hyderabad: In just 10 days after lockdown being implemented across Telangana, Rachakonda police in the Commissionerate limits booked 25,537 for violating lockdown, and not wearing the mask, etc.

Mahesh M Bhagwat, Rachakonda Police Commissioner, who personally participated in vehicle checking at ECIL Crossroads along with other police teams on Friday, said that in just one day on Thursday, police booked 4,054 cases and seized 1,579 vehicles for violating lockdown rules

Out of Total 25,537 cases booked….

  • 17,360 cases were booked for lockdown violation,
  • 6,367 for not wearing or improper wearing of masks,
  • 1,228 cases for not observing physical distance at public places,  
  • 337 cases for large public gatherings and
  • 245 cases of boozing at open places.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner commended the efforts of Police performing lockdown enforcement duties round the clock in the field. He requested the public to stay home and be safe.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner has warned erring citizens to strictly follow lockdown guidelines otherwise they will face problems legally and be penalized. ‘In lockdown relaxation period also Covid-19 appropriate behavior needs to be strictly observed’ CP said.
