Punjab: In a shocking incident in Dhuri City, Punjab, a temple priest stands accused of the murder of a young boy, whose body was allegedly buried within the temple compound. The victim, identified as Sudeep Kumar, had been a regular visitor to the temple but had been missing for the past three days. Despite his family’s efforts to locate him, no trace was found.

Upon investigation, local police detained the temple priest, Pandit Parmanand, for questioning. Initially, he attempted to mislead the authorities. However, during subsequent interrogation, he confessed to the gruesome crime. Parmanand admitted to murdering the boy inside the temple and burying his body in the “Havan kund,” a sacred fire pit within the temple premises.
