Hyderabad: City police commissioner Anjani Kumar issued Traffic regulation on Upper Tank bund to facilitate people visiting Upper Tank bund on Sundays from 5 PM to 10 PM to facilitate people visiting Upper Tank bund on every Sundays.
Traffic Diversion from 5 Pm to 10 PM are as follows:
1. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at Ambedkar statue towards Telugu Thalli, Iqbal Minar.
2. Traffic coming from Telugu Thalli towards Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at Ambedkar Statue towards Liberty, Himayathnagar.
3. Traffic coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at Sailing Club towards Kavadiguda DBR Mills – Lower Tank bund – Katta Maisamma Temple – Telugu Thalli Flyover.
4. Traffic coming from DBR Mills towards Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Ghosala – Kavadiguda – Jabbar Complex – Bible House.
5. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Secunderabad will be diverted at Old Secretariat towards Telugu Thalli Flyover.
Parking for Visitors coming from Ambedkar Statue:
1. Ambedkar Statue to Lepakshi 2. Dr Cars 3. New MLA Quarters, Adarshnagar. 4. Near Andhra Secretariat.
Parking for Visitors coming from Karbala Maidan:
1. Sailing Club to Children’s park 2. Buddha Bhavan backside towards Necklace road 3. NTR Grounds
CP, Anjani Kumar further requested commuters and the general public to avoid the Tank bund route and take alternative routes on the above mention date and time to reach their destinations without any hindrance and co-operate with the Traffic Police.
