Hyderabad, 11 March: Two months after marriage, the couple died in a traffic accident after their bike they were riding rammed into an electric pole.
Th accident happened at Jalpal of Machel Mandal in Ranga Reddy district late on Thursday,
when they were returning home from a temple.
The couple, J Laxman (32), and J Manga (26) were married on 9th January 2021, they were native of from Bodakonda, Manchal Mandal of Rangareddy district.
On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, they went to a nearby temple and after visiting relatives and were returning home when the accident occurred.
According to police, Laxman was driving speed and lost control of the bike and crashes the into the electric pole. The couple who suffered serious head injuries were dead on the spot.
Laxman was allegedly driving fast and lost control of the bike while negotiating a curve, leading the bike to crash into the electric pole on the roadside. Both died on the spot.
The bodies were sent to Ibrahimpatnam government hospital for postmortem examination. Sub Inspector Suresh registered a case and further investigation in process.
