Bhopal: A 25-year-old person selling bangles was cruelly beaten in broad daylight in full public view by a group of men. They also allegedly took away ₹ 10,000 from him in Indore, Madhya Pradesh’s on Sunday.
A police case was registered late at night and three main accused were arrested reportedly after a large number of people gathered at the police station demanding action against the accused.
Indore Superintendent of Police issued the following statement on Twitter …
- Yesterday, on 22.08.2021, a video of a bangle man being assaulted in the police station Banganga area has been circulated on social media. In relation to the viral video, a case has been registered by the Indore Police on behalf of the aggrieved party in serious sections of 14 Bhadvi legally,
- Also, on the basis of the viral video, 03 accused who were mainly inciting the public by beating, have arrested 02 accused, team has been sent for search after getting the location of the third person seen in the video.
- The crowd seen in the video will also be identified and arrested immediately after taking prompt action. Police is requested to all not to be misled by anyone, exercise restraint, no guilty will be spared. Indore Police is always alert and ready to work impartially.
