According to Boulder police commander Kerry Yamaguchi, suspect is injured and arrested by police, following the incident at the King Soopers store in Boulder, some 30 miles (50 kilometers) northwest of the state capital Denver. However, police did not specify the assailant’s possible motive.
A shirtless suspect assailant being taken from the supermarket. The man had what appears to be blood on his arm and right leg and his hands appeared to be cuffed behind him as two officers escorted him away. The man was taken away in an ambulance.
“We have multiple people who were killed in this incident including Boulder police officer,” Yamaguchi told reporters.
When asked to offer a more specific figure, the police spokesman replied: “We are still processing the scene.”
