Hyderabad: Mohammed Azharuddin, President, Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) appointed Ombudsman Justice (retired) Deepak Verma passed an interim order and temporarily disqualified five Apex Council members.
The disqualified Apex members are John Manoj (vice-president), R Vijayanand (secretary), Naresh Sharma (joint secretary), Surender Agarwal (treasurer), and P Anuradha (Councilor) who are facing investigation under Rule 41(1) (b).
However, Apex members dismissed the disqualifications and said “We have not recognized Justice Deepak Verma as HCA Ombudsman since it was not approved in the April 11 Annual General Meeting,”
