Four of Family Died, after Truck Hits Auto Rickshaw in Sangareddy

The eight-member-family were going to attend a function, and just before they reached the function venue the accident happened.

Sangareddy, 14 March: In a tragic accident four persons died and five others belong a single family seriously injured in a road accident on NH-161 at Almaipet, Andole Mandal in Sagareddy District.

Truck carrying goods rammed into a passenger auto rickshaw on Sunday afternoon. The eight-member-family were going to attend a function, and just before they reached the function venue the accident happened.

The deceased were identified passengers from one family Sai Vishesh (11), Patnam Charan (7) and Patnam Venkatesh (39), and auto driver Sravan (43), The injured were identified as Padma, Bhavani, Ramesh and couple of their relatives.

A Balaji, Sangareddy District Superintendent of Police (DSP) told media that, the eight-member-family Patnam Venkatesh, residents of Sangareddy town, was travelling in an auto to attend a function at Mansanaplly in Andole Mandal. Minutes before they reached their function venue, they met with the accident. The driver of container is at large.

Injured were first admitted to Sangareddy hospital and later to shifted to Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad for further treatment.

A case has been registered further investigation in process.
