Hyderabad: Junior doctors at Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad attended their duties wearing helmets on Tuesday as a mark of protest after one of their colleagues a female final-year resident doctor was injured when a ceiling fan fell on her head.
The incident occurred on Monday and hospital sources said the fan was 40 years old.
According to Dr. B. Nagender, OGH Superintendent all the problems faced by the hospital will be solved with the construction of a new building and pointed out that the issue is pending in the court.
