Hyderabad: A cricket betting gang arrested by Cyberabad police and arrest the organized booking gang by Madhapur zone of Cyberabad Police.
According to Cyberabad police, In view of the ongoing PSL (PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE) 2021 Cricket Matches, SOT Madhapur Zone of Cyberabad Police has been keeping surveillance and informants to trace out the activity of bookies and individuals indulging in this illegal activity of cricket betting.
As a result, the SOT Madhapur received credible information about online cricket betting being organized at Pavani Residency, Bhandari Layout, Nizampet, under the limits of Bachupally PS. On 21.06.2021 in the early hours, the SOT Madhapur with the help of Bachupally Police apprehended (05) cricket bookies of organized Online Cricket betting team while they were exchanging the money related to cricket betting and seized Rs.20,50,000/- Net cash, and 01-Betting Board, 01-Laptop, 33-Mobile Phones, 01-MI TV, 01-Hathway Router from their possession.

- CH. Trinath, 29, (Betting operator), R/o: Krishna District, AP.
- Nandipamu Bhaskar, 31, (Betting operator), R/o. Krishna District, AP, and
- Jakkapudi Prasad, 25, (Betting operator), R/o: West Godavari District, AP.
