Hyderabad: Kiran Kumar, a police constable was attacked by the accused with a knife and injured inside the police station.
Kiran Kumar, who is part of the blue colts patrolling party was interrogating the accused at the Chilkalguda police station and was attacked by an accused Srinath during interrogation, who had concealed a knife in his waist.
Kiran Kumar sustained a grievous injury over his neck and and back was shifted to a corporate hospital for treatment.
On late Tuesday night, a team of police arrested three persons Mamidi Shivanath, Mamidi Srinath, and Mamidi Hari after they allegedly attacked S Srikanth, a Kirana shop owner injuring him. And they were arrested, shifted, and being interrogated at the police station.
The police have registered two separate cases for attacking Kirana shop owner and attacking a cop and further investigation is in process.
