Begaluru: In Bengaluru this morning, a public bus burst into flames on MG road as its engine was started by the driver. Fortunately, the driver’s alertness prevented any injuries as he swiftly evacuated all 30 passengers from the bus, which belonged to the Koramangala depot. According to sources from the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), the driver immediately notified firefighters as plumes of smoke billowed from the vehicle.
Videos captured by bystanders depicted the dramatic scene as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze caused by an overheated engine. BMTC officials are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact cause. They assured that appropriate measures will be taken following the completion of their report.
