The Chief Justices transferred to other High Courts are:

1. Justice Akil Kureshi – Tripura to Rajasthan

2. Justice Indrajit Mahanty – Rajasthan to Tripura

3. Justice Mohammad Rafiq – Madhya Pradesh to Himachal Pradesh

4. Justice Arup Kumar Goswami – Andhra Pradesh to Chhattisgarh

5. Justice Biswanath Somadder – Meghalaya to Sikkim

The eight highcourt judges recommended to be elevated and appointment as Chief Justices are to various High Courts are:

1. Justice Rajesh Bindal – Allahabad

2. Justice Prakash Shrivastava – Calcutta

3. Justice PK Mishra – Andhra Pradesh

4. Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi – Karnataka

5. Justice Satish Chandra Sharma – Telangana

6. Justice Aravind Kumar – Gujarat

7. Justice RV Malimath – Madhya Pradesh

8. Justice Ranjit V More – Meghalaya

Telangana: Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, acting chief justice of the Karnataka High Court, has been elevated as chief justice of the Telangana High Court.

Andhra Pradesh: Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra of the Chhattisgarh High Court has been assigned as chief justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Calcutta: Justice Prakash Shrivastava of the Madhya Pradesh High Court has been made chief justice of the Calcutta High Court.

Himachal Pradesh: Justice Mohammed Rafiq, chief justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, has been transferred to Himachal Pradesh High Court.

Allahabad: Justice Rajesh Bindal, acting chief justice of the Calcutta High Court, was elevated as chief justice of the Allahabad High Court.

Meghalaya: Justice Ranjit V More of Meghalaya was made chief justice of the same high court

Madhya Pradesh: Justice R V Malimath, acting chief justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court will now be chief justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Karnataka: Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi of the Allahabad High Court will head the Karnataka High Court.

Gujrat: Justice Arvind Kumar of the Karnataka High Court has been elevated as chief justice of the Gujarat High Court.

Rajasthan: Justice Akil Abdulhamid Kureshi, chief justice of the Tripura High Court, has been transferred as chief justice of the Rajasthan High Court.

Tripura: Justice Indrajit Mahanty, of Rajasthan High Court, has been posted as chief justice of the Tripura High Court.

Sikkim: Justice Biswanath Somadder, chief justice of Meghalaya High Court, has been posted as chief justice of the Sikkim High Court.

Chhattisgarh: Justice A K Goswami, chief justice of AP High Court, has been posted as chief justice of Chhattisgarh High Court.
