Hyderabad: In a sad traffic accident, a birthday boy who was planning to celebrate his birthday with his two friends, all three minors aged 16 years died when their bike was hit by an unknown vehicle in Chevella, Rangareddy at 7 PM on Friday.
The deceased friends were identified as Harijan Jayavardhan (birthday boy), Vishnuvardhan, and K Prasad. They were residents of Devuniyerravally, Chevella, Ranga Reddy district. The boys’ fathers are farmers.
According to Chevella police inspector G Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, the accident occurred when Jayavardhan with his two friends, was returning home after buying a birthday cake and on Shankarpally – Chevella road, a rashly driven vehicle hit their bike. All three friends fell on the road and died of serious multiple bleeding injuries.
Chevella police shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Chevella for autopsy. Police registered a case and investigating the case, CCTV footage gathered from various surveillance cameras is being examined to trace the vehicle involved in the crash.
