All the three billionaires from Hyderabad featured in the list of 100 richest Indians come from the pharma industry.
Hyderabad: Three individuals from Hyderabad have made it to the list of Top 100 richest Indians. And Telangana has the sixth-largest number of billionaires in India and is Ranked 4th in the Indians Billionaire according to Hurun India Rich List 2021.
- 255 in Mumbai tops the list of richest India
- 167 in New Delhi
- 85 in Bengaluru
- 56 in Hyderabad, 5 more than 2020.
The Telangana state has a total of 63 billionaires, eight more than 2020.
Three individuals from Hyderabad have made it to the list of Top 100 richest Indians.
- Murali Divi, (14th richest person in the country) a US-trained scientist and founder of Hyderabad-based Divi Laboratories, drug research with a wealth of Rs 79,000 crore. His wealth increased by 71% over a year. He was ranked 17 last year.
- B. Parthasaradhi Reddy, (58th richest person in the country) and family of Hetero Labs with a wealth of Rs 26,100 crore. His wealth increase by 88% in a year. They were ranked 81 last year.
- P.V. Ramprasad Reddy (86th richest person in the country) of Aurobindo Pharma Group with a wealth of Rs 19,000 crore, His wealth decreased by 6% in a year, He was ranked 81 last year
