Dibrugarh, 19 March: Rahul Gandhi addressing an election campaign in Assam said today, If Congress comes to power in Assam, then it will no implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).
Rahul Gandhi was seen in a shirt that sported a crossed-out CAA, is in Assam state on a two-day campaign began, he was interacting students at a college in Lahowal in Dibrugarh and later met tea garden workers at Dinjoy tea estate in Dibrugarh.

Rahul Gandhi told students, that there is no democracy without students “Democracy means-voice of Assam should control Assam. If we don’t include students then there can be no democracy. Youth should actively participate in politics and fight for Assam when they feel the state is being robbed. You’ll have to fight with love, not with stones, lathis,” and advised them to actively participate in politics.
