Kolkata, 24 FEB: Kolkata Police Tuesday arrested Rakesh Singh, BJP leader from West Bengal on Tuesday, in connection with Pamela Goswami drug.
Pamela BJP youth wing leader was earlier arrested for allegedly possessing of heroin/Cocaine.
Rakesh Singh was summoned by the Kolkata police, responding to summon he wrote to police he would not be available since he had a prior appointment in Delhi. His petition against the summons was rejected by the Calcutta High Court.
According to Kolkata Police, Rakesh is arrested by the local police. His two sons, Sivam Singh, Suvam Singh have also been arrested by Kolkata police for allegedly interfering with police from discharging their duties.
