New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday Put “On Hold” The three new farm laws at the heart of massive farmer protests near Delhi will not be implemented for now.  

The Supreme Court said it was putting a hold on the three farm laws till further notice. “We are staying three farm laws until further orders,” Chief Justice SA Bobde said.

The Supreme Court has also set up a four-member committee of agricultural experts to give a report to the court on the farm laws.
