Peddapalli, 18 FEB: Kunta Srinivas, and 2 others who were allegedly involved in the murder of High Court lawyer couple, have apparently surrendered themselves to the police.
The couple was cruelly stabbed to death near Kalwacherala of Ramagiri mandal yesterday.
Prior to death, the deceased advocate Vamana Rao told passerby about the killers mentioning the name of a Kunta Srinivas.
Vamana Rao’s father Kishan Rao in a complaint to the police also mentioned the names of Kunta Srinivas, Akkapaka Kumar and Vasantha Rao as responsible for the death of his son and daughter-in-law.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) sacked Kunta Srinivas from the party, who is accused of murdering the advocate couple and Srinivas was named by Vamana Rao in his dying declaration.
Both the victims as well as the accused belong to same mandal. Conflict developed between them over the construction of a temple and a house in the village.
Vamana Rao was think about filing a case against Srinivas as he was allegedly constructing the house on government land.
According to sources, that Srinivas had warned Vamana Rao with severe consequences if he filed a case in the court. And there were rumors in the past 3 months that Vamana Rao would be killed.
