Jaya Bachchan, known as Jaya Bhaduri before her marriage to Amitabh Bachchan, was born in a Bengali family.

Kolkata, 05 April: Jaya Bachchan, MP Samajwadi party, arrived in Kolkata late Sunday evening and was welcomed by TMC leaders. Jaya Bachhan’s support for the TMC party reiterates their slogan: “Bangla nijer mayekay chaye”. (or “Bengal wants only its own daughter”).

Jaya Bachchan, known as Jaya Bhaduri before her marriage to Amitabh Bachchan, was born in a Bengali family.

As a part of the ruling Trinamool Congress’ star campaigners, actor-turned-politician, Samajwadi party leader and Member of Parliament, Jaya Bachchan is all set to campaign for the TMC party’s candidates from April 5 to 8, party leaders said.

Jaya Bachchan will participate in at least four roadshows on April 6 and 7 and may even share the stage with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in a public rally on April 8.

Jaya Bachchan in a Press says, Don’t Hijack my Religion from me, Don’t, Never, Don’t Hijack my Democracy, my Democratic Right from me, and when I say me, I represent all the people. Manata Banerjee is fighting, struggling a single lady to preserve to democratic rights of every individual of Bengal.
