Hyderabad: Hyderabad residents will get free water from January 2020. KT Rama Rao, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Minister said the Telangana government would be formally launched free drinking water supply in Hyderabad city in the first week of January.
Moreover, no charges would be collected from consumers for consumption of up to 20000 liters in the December bills, says CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
KT Rama Rao, and Somesh Kumar (Chief Secretary) who was also participated the meeting and conveyed the same with Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) officials here on Saturday and Instructions were issued to the HMWSSB officials to sketch out plans, detailed rules, and arrangements for implementation of the free water supply pin Hyderabad city.
