Fake Cops Gang Arrested, Kidnapped a Businessman for Ransom from Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police, Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) police arrested fake cops identified as Nagaraju Karthikeya Raghuvarma alias Major Karthik, B Deepak Kumar, G Anil Kumar from on Wednesday.
2 another of the gang identified as Nagaraju Karthikeya Raghuvarma alias Major Karthik, B Deepak Kumar, G Anil Kumar still absconding.
They are accused of kidnapping a businessman T. Dileep while posing as cops.
The police also seized the toy pistol, two knives, a police and Army uniform from them.
Karthikeya Raghu Verma is originally from Kommu Chirala village, West Godavari. He applied to join the army in 2017 but was not successful. After this, he bought an army uniform and a police uniform. Wearing an army uniform; went to his village and campaigned as an army officer.
Acceding to police, posing as cope they kidnapped the businessman T. Dileep and taken to West Godavari district in AP, and snatch 50 thousand rupees, mobile phone and car from him, and demands Rs 5 lakh ransom to release him.
