Vinay Reddy previously served as chief speechwriter when Biden was the Vice President in 2013-2017 during Barack Obama’s second term.

Hyderabad: Vinay Reddy, Born and brought up in Dayton, Ohio, and his family hails from the village of Pothireddypeta in Telangana is the Director of speech writing in Joe Biden government.

Joe Biden, after sworn as 46th President of the United States, on Wednesday would deliver a presidential inaugural speech, written by Vinay Reddy.

When the entire world is waiting to hear new Biden’s inaugural speech, people in a remote village in Telangana will cherish the moment as his speechwriter has his roots here. People in village Pothireddypeta in Karimnagar district, feel proud for Vinay Reddy.

Vinay Reddy was born and brought up in the USA, but his family maintained its links with the village. The family still owns three acres of land and a house in Pothireddypeta.

Reddy, an alumnus of the Ohio State University College of Law earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and double-majored in political science and philosophy.
