Hyderabad, 27 Dec 2020: Customs department at Hyderabad Airport arrested a woman and seized over two kilograms of gold worth more than Rupees 94 lakh from her possession at Hyderabad airport on Saturday.

The Woman was travelling from Dubai to Hyderabad, and during routine customs check it was found she was concealing five gold bars and Jewelry in her baggage.

“The five gold bars are weighing around 1400 grams and the jewelry weighing around 600 grams.

Total value of seized gold is estimated to be worth of Rupees 94 lakh.

The smuggled gold has been seized and further investigation is under progress.
