Texas: Princeton police in Texas are searching for four individuals of Telugu origin in connection with a labor trafficking operation. The investigation, which began in March, led to arrest warrants being issued recently.

On March 13, officers responded to a welfare concern at a home on Ginsburg Lane, Collin County. The subsequent investigation led to a search warrant for the residence of Santhosh Katkoori, where police found 15 women allegedly forced to work for shell companies owned by Katkoori and his wife, Dwaraka Gunda.

The victims, including both women and men, were working as programmers. Police seized several laptops, phones, printers, and fraudulent documents from the home. Further searches in Princeton, Melissa, and McKinney uncovered additional evidence.

Arrest warrants were issued for Santhosh Katkoori (31) and Dwaraka Gunda (31) of Melissa, Chandan Dasireddy (24) of Melissa, and Anil Male (37) of Prosper. They are charged with trafficking of persons, a second-degree felony. It is unclear if any of the accused have legal representation.

The investigation is ongoing, with further charges pending. Anyone with information or who has been a victim of trafficking is urged to contact the Princeton Police Department.
