Amravati, 12 March: Three people died when a car plunged into a canal, two others survived. The tragic incident took place at Lolla Lakulu in Atreyapuram zone of East Godavari district.
The deceased were identified as residents of Bhimavaram in West Godavari district.
The car accidentally plunged into a canal at Lolla locks. Only one body was recovered and two more bodies of missing persons are being searched.
Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and took relief measures. The car is being retrieved from the canal with the help of locals.
