Hyderabad: In a late-night raid, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) disrupted the ‘Forest Alchemy – 3rd Edition’ event at ‘The Cave Bar and Lounge’ in Manikonda, arresting 24 individuals for drug use. Acting on specific intelligence, a team led by Director Sandeep Shandilya raided the bar around midnight, surprising the attendees. Portable drug detection kits revealed that 24 out of 55 checked individuals, including the DJ, had consumed drugs. Most were found to have used ganja, while four, including the DJ, tested positive for ganja and cocaine, and one for MDMA. Despite the rain, the event featuring DJ Sandeep Sharmar and Foe‘Xan attracted a large crowd. The raid, based on days of investigation, led to the detention of the 24 consumers and the club management. Authorities continued their operation well past midnight.
