Bhupalpally: Kataram Mandal Tahsildar, M Sunitha was arrested red-handed by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials for accepting a Rs 2 lakh bribe from a complainant at her office on Thursday.
According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau press note, the Tahsildhar had demanded Rs 2 lakh “to process the file about the issuance of complainant’s pattadar passbook and to see that the same is issued” from complainant Aitha Harikrishna, a resident of Boduppal, Hyderabad, and a native of Kataram Mandal.
Anti-Corruption Bureau officials recovered the Rs 2 lakh bribe amount from her bag.
She will be produced before the ACB Special Judge in Hyderabad by Anti-Corruption Bureau.
