Hyderabad: A eight-member robbery gang, who do recce of residential colonies and targets people walking in secluded areas and robbing their jewellery, cash and mobile phones, were arrested by Bachupllay police on Saturday.
According to police “The gang threatened targets and created a sense of fear and panic in them. They end up handing over their valuables to these suspects. They are involved in 10 cases so far,”
Following complaints, police booked a case and with the help of technical evidence, they were arrested one after the other.
The arrested members of the gang are….
- K. Vinay (22), a food delivery executive from Yousufguda,
- S.Mahesh Kumar (19) a painter from Banjara Hills,
- K.Manideep, a wine shop worker from Jeedimetla,
- Veeresh,
- Rakesh,
- Vijay,
- Dilip and
- Kiran.
