BJP MLA Raja Singh’s One Year Jail Suspended by High Court

Hyderabad: The High Court of Telangana on Wednesday suspended the one-year jail of Raja Singh BJP MLA, qwarded by the special court recently.

Justice G Sridevi ruled in favor of Raja Singh filed a petition challenging the special court’s conviction, subsequently Justice G Sridevi ruled in favor of Raja Singh and suspended the jail term.

On January 29, the trial court had declared him guilty in a case linked to provisions relating to assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty, and criminal intimidation.
