Jagitial: A youth, Mukka Gopi alias Gopichand, who was stalking a girl was killed by the Girl’s uncle on Wednesday night.
According to sources, Gopichand a resident of Venkatraopet, Metpalli municipality had been harassing the girl for some time and did not stop even after registering a police complaint against him.
Girl’s family shifted her to a relative house in a different area. The boy then was insisting girl’s uncle, Bedugam Narender to bring her back and marry him.
Again on Wednesday night, Gopichand was arguing with Girl’s uncle, Narender’s, angry by the harassment, Uncle stabbed Gopichand with a knife, killing him on the spot.
Jagtial police visited the spot and shifted the body to a government hospital for postmortem.
According to police besides harassment, two robbery cases were also registered against the Gopichand.
