Hyderabad: Bhartiya Janata Party leaders met Additional DGP Jitender on Thursday and requests not to shift the old Chandrayangutta police station.

The BJP delegation led by G Praha described that the current police station is located in a communally sensitive area and was established during the Nezam era.

A new building of Chandrayangutta police station was recently constructed at Bandlaguda and is to be inaugurated soon.
