AP CM Jagan Reddy Inaugurates Kurnool Airport

Kurnool, 25 March: YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister here on Thursday inaugurated the Kurnool Airport at Orvakallu, built by Andhra Pradesh government on its own.

YS Jaganmohan Reddy said during inauguration, that the flights operation to Bangalore, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam would begin from March 28 at the airport.

Airport is completed within one-and-a-half years and it was built at a cost of Rs.153 crore on 1,008 acres, 2000 meters long and 30 meters wide runway with provision for parking four aircraft. Airport has all the modern firefighting equipment.
