381 Gram Gold Seized at Hyderabad Airport, Concealed in Specially Designed Suitcase

Hyderabad, 15 April: The Hyderabad customs officials on Wednesday booked a case for smuggling 381 grams of gold from a passenger Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad.

The passenger who arrived from Dubai by flight 6E-25, concealed the gold in a specially designed inner frame of his suitcase and was caught during the security check. 

The Customs official officials at Hyderabad Airport recovered and seized 381 grams of 18 carat gold which is estimated value of Rs 13.6 lakh.

The airport officials booked a case against the passenger and are investigating.
