2.4 Kg Gold worth Rs. 1.20 crore Seized by Custom Officials at Hyderabad Airport

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad customs officials on Friday booked a case for smuggling 2.4 Kg of 24-carat gold bars, which were concealed in the trouser pockets of the passengers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad.

A total of 2.4 kgs of gold valued at Rs 1.20 crores was seized from a passenger arriving flight EK-526 which arrived from Dubai,

The airport officials booked a case Further investigation is in progress.

On 17.05.21 Hyderabad Customs booked two cases for smuggling of gold against 2 passengers arriving by EK-526. 24 carat gold bars were concealed in the trouser pockets of the passengers. A total of 2.4 kgs of gold valued at Rs 1.2 crores was seized from the passengers. pic.twitter.com/vX0XmBJCXB
