Hyderabad: A senior citizen who is reportedly over 100 years of age has managed to defeat the Covid-19 and recover at Gandhi Hospital.
Ramananda Teertha, 100+ year old, a temple priest, was admitted to Gandhi Hospital here on April 24 with mild Covid symptoms and low saturation levels.
Raja Rao, Supritendent Gandhi Hospital said that Teertha has now recovered from Covid and his saturation levels have also improved to 97, and tested Negativem however, he will remain under observation at the general ward of the hospital for a few more days.
According to doctors, Possible reasosn for his miraculous recovery because he did not have any comorbidities.
