Hyderabad: A major fire erupted on the Zaheerabad bypass road in Sangareddy district, severely damaging a container truck carrying eight cars and causing a significant traffic jam along the Hyderabad-Mumbai Highway. The incident occurred at Ranjol as the container, en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad, was engulfed in flames.
Upon notification, local fire services from Zaheerabad, along with additional support from a car manufacturer’s fire safety team, arrived swiftly to combat the blaze. However, the flames spread rapidly, bringing traffic to a halt on the highway and leading to prolonged inconvenience for motorists as they waited for the fire to be brought under control.
