Hyderabad: The Special Zonal Crime Team of the Central Crime Station arrested three individuals on August 9 in connection with mobile theft, recovering 25 stolen phones. The arrested suspects were identified as Uppadhi Daya (35), Mohammed Jahangir (35), both residents of Mallepally, and Vinod Kumar Tiwari (65), a resident of Kachiguda.

Daya has a history of involvement in mobile theft, with five previous cases registered against him in the police jurisdictions of Humayun Nagar, Domalguda, Hussaini Alam, Gudimalkapur, Chaderghat, and Afzalgunj. Jahangir was also previously booked in a mobile theft case under the Mangalhat police limits. The authorities seized the stolen phones, and further investigation into the case is underway.
