Earlier… Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched a fleet of specially designed vehicles aimed at the rapid restoration of power across Greater Hyderabad. A total of 57 divisions within the city limits will benefit from this initiative, with each division receiving one vehicle dedicated to addressing emergency power issues.
Each vehicle will be staffed with a team comprising one assistant engineer and three line staff, ensuring 24/7 availability to respond to outages. These vehicles come fully equipped with essential safety tools, including ladders, insulators, cables, earth rods, and helmets. They are also capable of towing and replacing transformers swiftly, enhancing their ability to restore power in less time during critical situations.
