Hyderabad: Telugu actor Chandrakanth, renowned for his roles in daily soaps, has tragically passed away. The actor allegedly died by suicide at his home in Alkapur, Telangana, on Friday. This heartbreaking news follows closely on the heels of the death of his co-star and close friend Pavithra Jayaram, who died in a car accident a few days earlier.
According to a statement from Chandrakanth’s father, the actor had been severely depressed in the days leading up to his death. Chandrakanth had been deeply mourning Pavithra’s loss, expressing his grief through emotional tributes on social media. In his final Instagram post, he shared his sorrow and disbelief, writing, “This is the last picture I took with you. I’m unable to digest you left me alone. Please call out for me once again. My Pavi is no more, please come back.” He also posted a story saying, “Please come back and wipe my tears.”
