SSC Exams of Only 6 Papers, Instead of Total 11 Papers, Board of Secondary Education, Telangana

Telangana government reduced only one question papers for each subject for the academic year 2020-21.

Hyderabad: In a major relief to SSC students during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Telangana State government has made changes in the number of papers by merging both h papers of each subject for the SSC Public Examinations.

According to the new SSC exam new format, students appearing for exams will have to write only six question papers instead of the existing 11 papers.

Telangana government reduced only one question papers for each subject for the academic year 2020-21.

The total examinations will be held for 600 marks including 480 marks for board exams and 120 for internals i.e., average of two formative assessments.

According to memo, “There will be no change in the existing weightage of marks i.e., 80 marks for final examination (board exam) and 20 marks for formative assessment for all six papers.”

Moreover, the duration of the examination has been increased by 30 minutes, i.e., from 2 hours and 45 minutes to 3 hours and 15 minutes.
