Hyderabad, 03 Feb: Rahul Goud, the axed attack culprit is now arrested by Meerpet police on Wednesday in 24 hours after he attempted to kill a woman. An axe and scooter used in committing the crime were also seized.

Earlier, the same woman resisted his sexual advances and lodged a complaint with the police.

Rahul Goud, a family friend of the woman, used to sexually harassed her even though she had cautioned him several times. Finally, she lodged a complaint against him with the Meerpet police and Rahul Goud was arrested, recently he was released on bail.

Consequently, he went to her house and attacked her with an axe late on Monday, injuring her on the right hand.

According to police, Goud, had purchased an axe from a roadside shop near BN Reddy crossroads with the intention of killing the woman. We are trying to take up this case in a fast-track court and get him punished at the soonest.
