Saudi Arabia, Qatar Set to Reopen Air, Sea and Land Borders
Saudi Arabia and Qatar are set to reopen their air, land, and sea borders.
According to Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah, the move, dubbed as the Al-Ula declaration, would be signed on Tuesday on the sidelines of the summit, which will come into force on Monday evening, is part of an agreement agreed by the two countries.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will lead his country’s delegation to the 41st GCC summit in Al-Ula on Tuesday, local media reported.
The Qatari emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will be attending the GCC summit for the first time since the Gulf crisis began in 2017.
