Hyderabad Police Seek Red Corner Notice Against Ex. Intelligence Bureau Chief, and MD I-News

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police have requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to issue a red corner notice against T. Prabhakar Rao, former chief of the Special Intelligence Bureau, and Shravan Kumar Rao, managing director of I-News. Both suspects are currently in the United States and are wanted in a serious case involving privacy invasion. Hyderabad Police Commissioner Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy confirmed that they have contacted the US Embassy and immigration authorities, highlighting that the accused are misusing their visas. The police are optimistic that the case will progress once the suspects are apprehended.

The application for the red corner notice is ongoing, and efforts are being made to expedite the process. Meanwhile, other suspects in custody are finding it difficult to obtain bail due to the severity of the charges. When questioned about potential notices to political figures, Commissioner Reddy indicated that it could happen as the investigation advances.
