Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police cracked down on illegal bike racing and stunting, registering cases against 40 youngsters and seizing 40 bikes near Hyderabad’s T-Hub, Knowledge City, and Raidurgam areas. Responding to reports of young bikers racing, performing stunts, and creating a public nuisance with loud shouting, the Raidurgam police arrived at the scene, where the racers tried to flee but were apprehended. Five cases were filed against the bikers, and the seized bikes were handed over to the RTA for further action under the Motor Vehicle Act.
The police emphasized that such activities not only disrupt public order but also pose serious risks of accidents. They appealed to parents to discourage their children from participating in such dangerous behavior, warning that any future offenders would face strict legal consequences, including possible jail time.
