Person Booked for Threatening Moghal Pura Police Inspector on Phone

Hyderabad: The Moghalpura police have registered a case for allegedly threatening an Inspector of Police against a person.

A person named Asif was booked by Moghalpura police station for threatening Ravi Kumar, Inspector of Police in connection with the arrest of 2 persons in an assault case of a person hailing from Bihar.

Earlier this week two persons Mohammed Ghouse and Mohammed Shareef were arrested by Moghalpura Police for assaulting a man hailing from Bihar for moving with a Muslim girl.

A Ravi Kumar, Inspector of Police, has complained to the same police station alleging that he received a WhatsApp voice call on his official mobile phone from one Asif on June 2, and obstructed the police duties and tried to promote enmity between two communities and a case under IPC section 153(A) (Promoting enmity between two groups on the ground religion) registered against him.
