Pastor Assaulted in Vanasthalipuram, Accused of Converting People, Mild Tension at Police Station

Hyderabad: Thursday late-night group of unidentified persons attacked a pastor alleging the pastor was helping religious conversions at Vanasthalipuram.

G Chandra Mouli (pastor) went to pray at one Jayamma’s house, who is also a Christian.

Hindu Dharma Protectors group members came there and allegedly mistreated and attacked the pastor.

Vanasthalipuram police booked a case against the group and have taken up investigation.

Friday morning activists from several organization including from BJP, RSS staging a protest at Vanasthalipuram police station. They were accusing the police of being silent on religious conversions and booking cases on the people who are protesting the conversions.
