Madhavi Latha Demands Repolling in Hyderabad, Claims Rigging

Hyderabad: Madhavi Latha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Hyderabad Lok Sabha election, requested the Election Commission of India (ECI) to Repoll the voting in the Parliamentary constituency due to alleged rigging.

Madhavi Latha also alleged that there was a sudden surge in voting, particularly in the final hour, with a reported 12 percent increase, suggesting foul play by the AIMIM party aided by local authorities. Despite this, Hyderabad recorded a 48 percent turnout during the Lok Sabha elections.

She assured of taking necessary measures to ensure the Election Commission of India orders a new vote in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, aiming for a fair and transparent election process.

Earlier… Malakpet Police have filed a case against Madhavi Latha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Hyderabad MP candidate, for verifying the identities of women wearing burqas at a polling station in the city.

After a Viral Video, the Hyderabad collector tweeted, “A case is registered in Malakpet Police Station against Smt Madhavi Latha, Contesting candidate, BJP under sections 171C, 186, 505(1)(c) of IPC and Section 132 of the Representation of the People Act”.
